For beginners there are only some tools that are essential for performing personal editing or as technically called 'The Native Editing'.
So lets begin beginners;
1.The move tool:This tool is used for moving all the objects in Photoshop viewport also including their transformation that is their size...
2.The marquee tool:Marquee tool is used for performing perfect shape selections for deleting or coping or applying any filter on the object selected...
3.The quick selection tool:This magical tool automatically picks the pixels with same color (like picking all the shades of blue or white if you are selecting a portion of the skies.)and then you can perform all the operations that are possible with the marquee tool...
4.The Stamp tool:Stamp tool allows you to brush a portion of your image with another portion of the same or different image by holding ALT key and clicking on a portion and then simply dragging the mouse on the area where you want to stamp the part you clicked holding ALT key...
5.The Eraser tool:Eraser tool as its name suggests lets you erase the places you want of your image or your object...
6.The Text tool:The text tool is used to input any text on your viewport;As you see various jokes with a celeb in the background giving the expression suitable to the joke and then the text is written over his/her photo;This is possible with the help of Text tool...
7:The shape tool:As the name says this tool is obviously used to draw certain kinds of shapes...
8:The Zoom tool:zoom tool on photoshop can also be used for panning that is sliding camera in the direction of the object slowly to give it a Camera kind of effect;and other uses of this tool are similar to the zoom tool in the MS Paint program...

1.Drop Shadow: You can apply drop shadow to the object on the screen bu just ticking this option of DROP SHADOW (in the top left corner in the ^ image.
2.Inner shadow:You can apply a unique look to your image using this inner shadow button just by ticking on it...
3.Outer Glow:This effect helps your object to glow in whichever color you want it to glow...
4.Inner glow:this effect helps your object to glow from inside and also helps to make it look like it is deep inside the viewport...
